Life-Size Lego Bag End Photos Emerge

Hobbit hole and Bilbo Baggins recreated in two million 1x1 LEGO-brick .

A LEGO representation of Bilbo Baggins' famous fictional Hobbit hole have been faithfully recreated in an incredible two million LEGO-brick construction.

Joining Bilbo on the 'life-sized' diorama is the wizard Gandalf and five dwarves: Thorin, Bombur, Balin, Bofur and Dwalin - all built as giant LEGO minifigs.

The model took 12 people 3,000 hours to make.

LEGO signed a licence with Warner Bros. to make toys of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings almost exactly one year ago. 

At the time Warner Bros, which represents the fantasy tales on behalf of The Tolkien Estate, said: "Only LEGO, with their expertise in the construction category, is capable of doing justice to the incredibly imaginative environments depicted in the world of The Lord of the Rings and the two films based on The Hobbit."
