Esco Corp., Portland, Ore., Announced It Has Acquired Full Ownership of Its Supply

Esco Corp., Portland, Ore., announced it has acquired full ownership of its supply and service division Esco Supply Limited. Esco, which maintains metalcasting capability for the production of wear parts and attachments for the mining and infrastructure development industries, formed the dealership as a partnership in 2007 with Equipment Sales and Service (ESS), Toronto, Canada, to deliver its products to the oil sands region. Esco said in a press release Esco Supply Limited is its largest supply and service location in the world. The company expects the transaction to add to its recent expansion efforts, which have focused on direct distribution and service offerings for mining customers. Jon Owens, president of Esco's Engineered Products Group, said the transition will require no change in employees, the company name or services offered to customers. "ESCO Supply Limited in Canada will operate today the exact same way it has operated the past five years, "he said. "We value the partnership we have had with ESS in the oil sands and look forward to continuing our relationship with them in the other regions of Canada where they serve as the ESCO dealer. " ESS has been an ESCO dealer for more than 20 years. Esco operates in 21 countries on six continents and operates a network of 34 manufacturing facilities and 48 sales and distribution offices.
