Elsamex SA, Spain, a wholly owned subsidiary of IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd in a 50:50 consortium with ASCON Road Construction LLC, UAE had participated in the bid tendered by the Department of Transport, Abu Dhabi, UAE for the performance based contract for the Maintenance of Abu Dhabi Al Ain Highway (E22) and Truck Road (E30/E40) the key strategic highway between Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The consortium has been awarded the above contract for maintenance of 512 kilometer of road sections with approximately 1238 lane kilometers for a period of 2 years.
The estimates contract value is AED 118.4 million which includes share of Elsamex SA of AED 59.2 million.
