Kazakhstan Produced 3.77 Million Mt of Crude Steel, Down 21.6 Percent Year on Year

According to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, in 2012 Kazakhstan produced 3.77 million mt of crude steel, down 21.6 percent year on year.

Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in 2012 decreased by 23.6 percent year on year to 2.373 million mt.

In the given period, Kazakhstan saw its ferroalloy production rise by three percent year on year to 1.724 million mt.
