American General Life Companies (American General) has introduced a new insurance product, AG Accident Choice Plus, to provide benefits for a wide range of emergency medical costs regardless of other health coverage.
The new product will offer coverage in the event of critical illness, accidental death and dismemberment, and inability to work due to an accidental injury.
American General A & H Product and Business Development vice president Jay Drucker said that the AG Accident Choice Plus provides peace of mind and protection for individuals and families when they experience a covered accident or critical illness.
"This product can be of great value to anyone who has a major medical plan with a significant deductible or large co-payments, anyone who has limited access to health care providers or who seeks to reduce out-of-pocket health care expenses," Drucker added.
The AG Accident Choice Plus also provides choice of benefit amounts and deductibles, as well as three optional riders for clients to meet the individual budgets and needs.
