The blueprint contains strategies to establish Indonesia as one of the leading global apparel hub through cooperation between four ministries, namely the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs.

The blueprint offers three strategies for achieving creative innovation that respects local content through research, development, improvement of competence, and enhancing business performance, according to a press release.

The main focus of the strategies would be on manufacturing and promoting readymade garments for the growing middle-class population.

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will support development and forecast of fashion designs and trends, while the Ministry of Industry will look after aspects related to manufacturing, technology, standardization, protection of intellectual rights, etc.

The Ministry of Trade will address marketing and promotion activities, including logistics, distribution and organizing exhibitions of Indonesian apparels abroad.
