Adac Is Planning to Invest $4.7m in Michigan Plant

ADAC Automotive, a company involved in painting vehicle parts, is planning to invest $4.7m in its Muskegon plant in Michigan, US to supplement its plastics operations.

The new 70,000 sq ft plant will have a paint system, adjacent to an existing molding facility for the company, and will add 130 jobs at the plant, which include painters and assemblers.

The company said that the new paint facility will provide increased flexibility in the type of parts it makes and provide capacity for future production.

ADAC which specializes in door handles, exterior mirrors and exterior trim, now has facilities and offices worldwide, including the UK, Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Germany and China, with agreements in India and Thailand.
