German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has launched its 2012 C-class and E-class sport edition sedans in India.
The two new cars are powered by 220CDI four-cylinder diesel engine mated to 7G TRONIC automatic transmission to deliver a total output of 170bhp and 400Nm of torque.

The safety features of the new sedans include, PRE - SAFE, NECK Pro, Attention Assist, tire pressure loss warning system, 6 Airbags, Antilock Braking System, Brake Assist, and Electronic Stability Programme with Acceleration Skid Control (ASR).
Since the introduction of of the new sedans, Mercedes-Benz has sold 16,000 C- class sedans and 21,000 E- class sedans in Indian market till date.
