Nearly 50% of Iraq's daily oil output of 1.5 million barrels were bought by China, which is expected to grow further, said sources on June 3.
 
China is already the largest consumer of oil in Iraq and is bidding for the equity of Iraq's largest oil field held by ExxonMobil.
