The toy and children's gift division of Associated Independent Stores has welcomed Claire Collingridge to the Play-room team.
Collingridge (pictured) takes on the role of product assistant and will be using her experience to help coordinate more in-store activity in members' stores.
In addition, she will also assist in the development of Children's Gift to enhance the current supplier base. Play-room is looking to work with more children's gift suppliers to offer stores a point of difference and improve their margin mix.
Collingridge boasts retail experience across a wealth of stores, as well as working as senior sales associate for Hawkins Bazzar which initially introduced her to the world of toys and gifts. In her previous role to joining Play-room, she developed both the online and physical retail space for Coventry Cathedral.
She has also worked as a visual merchandiser for department stors such as John Lewis, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer.
