US carmaker General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2012 Chevrolet Sonic vehicles manufactured from 5 May 2011 through 24 February 2012.
The latest recall is the second recall for the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic vehicles and is scheduled to start in September 2012.
The latest recall is due to the loose connection between the windshield washer fluid reservoir and the hoses that send the fluid to the squirters around the windshield.
The windshield cleaning fluid will not to make it to the nozzles that spray across it when the hose pulls away from the washer fluid reservoir.
In 2011, General Motors first recalled 2012 Chevrolet Sonic vehicles when it was found that a small batch of vehicles may not have one of the front brake pads.
Earlier in August 2102, GM recalled 10,315 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans in the cold areas of the US and Canada due to the effect of corrosion, which could block the fuelling pipe.
