B.-d. Farm Paris Creek Is Recalling Organic Biodynamic Yoghurt Apricot in Australia

B.-d. Farm Paris Creek, a dairy products manufacturer in Australia, is recalling Organic Biodynamic Yoghurt Apricot due to microbial contamination (E. coli), according to Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

This product was sold at Foodland, IGA and health food stores in New South Wales and South Australia. The product bears an expiry date of 14 November 2012.

FSANZ has advised consumers not eat to this product, but to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Consumption of food contaminated with E. coli bacteria can lead to diarrhoea, dehydration and, in the most severe cases, kidney failure, and it can cause serious illness in very young, elderly, and those with weak immune systems.
