Falcon Insurance Company and Bank Muscat have entered into an agreement to offer life insurance cover to all customers availing consumer loans from the bank in the region.
Based on the terms of the agreement, all existing and new customers availing consumer loans from Bank Muscat will get the life insurance cover under the 'Group Credit Life Insurance' policy of the insurance company.
Falcon Insurance general manager A R Srinivasan was quoted by Times of Oman as saying, "Falcon Insurance is proud to be associated with Bank Muscat, which is the leading bank in Oman.
"In a short span of time, Falcon Insurance has emerged as one of the best insurance companies in the Sultanate and this association with Bank Muscat gives us the opportunity of providing insurance protection to the largest banking family in the Sultanate of Oman."
A subsidiary of Al Anwar Holding, Falcon Insurances was launched in 2005 and, the company started its life division in 2008 and now operates a composite insurance company licensed to offer all classes of insurance, including life, general and healthcare.
