It’s reported that SSAB North American Division (NAD) announced to raise its prices of medium heavy plates by US$25/short ton, effective immediately.
It’s known that the major steelmakers in North America including ArcelorMittal, Nucor and SSAB announced to raise medium heavy plate prices by US$30/short ton in a month ago but the price rise was unfavorable to buyers. They only hiked the prices successfully by US$15/short ton.
