Guardian Life Insurance, a mutual life insurer and a provider of employee benefits, has appointed Caitlin Pincus as senior vice president of Strategy & Guardian Labs and Dean Del Vecchio as senior vice president and chief information officer.
Pincus and Vecchio will report to president and CEO Deanna Mulligan and COO Scott Dolfi, respectively.
Pincus will be in charge of identifying emerging trends and capitalizing on them by accelerating the expansion of Guardian's products, services and go-to-market strategies. She will also bring a wide range of skills across market analysis, business strategy, financial services technology, start-ups, M&A and financial expertise to this role.
Prior to this, she worked as a CFO at JP Morgan Asset Management and held senior leadership roles at Oak Investment Partners, Morgan Stanley, Oppenheimer Funds, McKinsey & Co and Debevoise & Plimpton.
Del Vecchio will look after the implementation of strategic technology vision that aligns with the company's longer-term growth initiatives and ongoing business objectives. He recently served as SVP, CIO and global head of IT Shared Services at News Corp.
