Bosch has introduced a packaging machine SVE 2520 DZ that produces up to 100 Doy Zip bags a minute.
The vertical bagger allows for the production of seven styles of bags, and gives them a glossy finish.
Manufacturers have bag style options including pillow, gusseted, block bottom, corner seal, full corner, three-sided and doy. A
ccording to Bosch, shifting from one bag type to the other is flexible and takes over 45 minutes.
Continuous motion coupled with a unique-zipper applicator ensures high speed of 100 units a minute, making it the fastest Doy Zip bagger in the market, the company said.
The machine is suitable for nut, confectionery and chocolate manufacturers, among others.
The SVE 2520 DZ needs a small footprint of six square meters. Higher output per square meter results in lower cost-per-bag and a higher return on investment, the company added.
The Doy Zip bags protect contents for future consumption as they come with easy opening and reclosing features.
Bosch Packaging Technology engineering and design manager Patrick Lagarde said: "Bosch re-engineered the vertical form, fill and seal machine based on the well-proven SVE platform to give manufacturers the branding potential of high-quality Doy Zip bags with minimal footprint.
"Doy Zip from Bosch helps brands stand out on the shelf and opens up new opportunities to meet consumer demands today and tomorrow."
