Japanese car manufacturer Honda is recalling over 820,000 Civic compact cars and Pilot sport utility vehicles (SUVs) due to a headlight problem across the US.
The new recall, which marks the third recall since 2004, affects 2002-2003 Civic cars and 2004-2005 Pilots, while the March recall covered the 2002-2004 CR-V and 2003 Pilot.
According to Honda, a problem with the wiring of the headlight switch could cause the low-beam headlights to not work.
In March 2102, the company recalled 550,000 CR-V SUVs from the 2002-04 model years and Pilots from 2003 due to the same problem.
The first recall included 440,000 Civic cars from 2001-2002 and 2000-2002 Insight vehicles.
In September 2012, Honda revealed its plans to recall 5,200 Element SUVs and 17 Ridgeline vehicles in the US.
