5 years after the introduction of the successful Porta-Wash line SETeMa announces a complete new developed module: the E-Wash, a professional open width washing machine.
Looking at customer’s requirements SETeMa has seen a growing market demand for faster washing equipment consistent with the increasing speed of the digital textile printers.
The new developed E-Wash achieves a higher output and washes more efficient than the already very economical Porta-Wash.
Nop Elemans director of SETeMa and the developer of the E-Wash said: “Since customers not only require a higher washing speed, but also demand a fastness wash up to 90°C, we developed the E-Wash especially on effectiveness in the washing process and minor heat loss”. “All our experiences of the last 5 years with our Porta-Wash range are put into this development” he continues “with the result that we now have a particularly compact and efficient washer with all components integrated.”
The washing speed of an E-Wash module is almost quadrupled compared to the largest Porta-Wash module.
The new 3-section E-Wash is equipped with all special features of the proven technology of the Porta-Wash line like:
-Vacuum extraction between the sections
-Counter-flow heat exchanger for the cold incoming and hot outgoing water
-Airflow recirculation at the vacuum system
-Thermally isolated walls and hoods
All these items are improved and due to the tighter integration of these components the overall efficiency is further increased.
The vacuum extraction largely prevents polluted water being dragged by the cloth into the next bath. To further enhance the washing effect the cloth is sprayed with clean soft water prior to the vacuum slit. This maintains the for the washing process required concentration differences between the cloth and the water in each bath. In the last section the vacuum extraction also pre-dries the cloth before the drying step.
A selection of options like scroll or double scroll rollers, tension control bars in- and outside the washing section, adjustable bow bars, several winding and unwinding systems, can be combined to suit a wide variety of cloth types. The E-Wash can also be integrated and synchronised with a third party dryer or stenter.
The E-Wash continues the modular setup of the SETeMa machines in which two or more E-Wash modules can be combined for an even higher performance, but also a combination with Porta-Wash and Porta-Pad modules is possible.
The philosophy is that customers should be able to define or modify their line-up to fit their needs and budget. Based on this philosophy the Porta-Wash will remain the smallest module.
As one of the first producers of finishing equipment for the digital market, SETeMa produces all of its products in three cloth widths: 1.85 m, 2.50 m and 3.40 m.
Marketing and sales activities of SETeMa are handled by 2-some.
