Ivory Coast’s flexible packaging firm Socipack has installed a suite of Comexi printing and converting equipment as both the firms expand their partnership.
Socipack installed Comexi F2 MB flexographic press, Comexi Dual laminator and Comexi S2 DTslitter at its headquarters located in Abidjan.
The new technologies will allow Socipack to manufacture a range of products, in addition to using in various applications.
Comexi F2 MB press has been developed to meet the printing needs of medium runs in the flexible packaging field for the retail and wholesale channel.
The press is said to provide enhanced printing at high speeds, and can be used for printing on different substrates ranging from plastic film to paper or laminated films.
Comexi Dual laminator, which can be used in various applications of flexible packaging, works with solvent and water based adhesives and lacquers, solventless adhesives and cold seals.
The machine features three-roller lamination nip, which helps to deliver better performance in any lamination process.
