A special intergalactic space-travel version of popular kids' suitcase Trunki has been created.
The bespoke one-off Virgin Galactic Trunki was presented to Richard Branson by Trunki founder Rob Law. It's a gift to celebrate the first powered test flight of Branson's White Knight space craft on April 28th.
But Trunki said it hopes to one day see its creations being taken on intergalactic journeys.
Yesterday evening (Thursday, May 16th) Trunki won The Sunday Times Fast Track Award for Innovation.
Trunki recently ranked 42 on The Fast Track league table, which ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years.
Each year, the top 100 are invited to Richard Branson’s Oxfordshire home for dinner - including Trunki's Rob Law for the 2013 ceremony, who set about designing "the ultimate Trunki for space travel".
“It was a massive achievement to have reached 42 out of 100 on the Fast Track league table and certainly a once in a lifetime experience to receive an invitation to meet with Mr Branson," said Law.
"The icing on the cake was definitely winning the Innovation Award on the night."
Trunki beat off competition from World of Books and stylish kitchenware brand Joseph Joseph.
