Industrial automation solutions manufacturer PHD has unveiled the new Series BST2 Transfer Arm, which has been designed to fit most Sidel Series2 machines.
The BST2 Transfer Arm provides longer service life and increased precision. It also minimizes maintenance and downtime in stretch blow mold applications.
According to the company, the vertical height adjustment of BST2 Transfer Arm eliminates shim packs to increase accuracy and improve quality. It has one-piece welded base for improved strength.
The new product has been designed to operate over 20 million cycles.
PHD's division, the Plastic Packaging Components (PPC) Group, focuses on blow molding of bottles and other plastic containers.
