Featuring low minimum order quantities, day-of price quotations and four-day shipping, the new portfolios will allow converters to address specific, unique-application label needs.

Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials - North America prime papers director David Collins said the first Select Solutions portfolio is a collection of holographic label materials suitable for seasonal packaging.

"By integrating holographic label materials with standard packaging, products can attract consumers and impact their decision at the point of purchase," Collins added.

The portfolios are also suitable for instances where brand owners want to communicate the nature of a product and increase its shelf appeal.

According to Avery Dennison, the film and paper materials portfolio uses a multi-layered coating to refract light and create various optical effects, including iridescent and prismatic visuals.

Semi-conformable and squeezable label materials are included in it for a variety of containers used in the food, beverage, wine, spirits, home and personal care market segments.

Materials in the holographic portfolio are also engineered for better converting and dispensing.

Going forward, the company plans to introduce a complete series of Select Solutions portfolios, including reclosure, security, and food safety and promotion.
