Madison Dearborn Partners has completed the acquisition of Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS), a supplier of print-based specialty packaging, from Irving Place Capital for an undisclosed value.
MPS chief executive officer Marc Shore said with the partnership with Madison Dearborn the company will capitalize on the significant opportunities available to expand and develop its business.
"MDP has substantial experience in the packaging industry and our new partnership will allow us to accelerate growth while continuing to provide high-quality products and outstanding service to our global customers," Shore added.
Madison believes that as it enters into its next growth phase its experience in supporting packaging businesses will be an asset to the company.
MPS, which manufactures packaging for the cosmetics, healthcare, consumer, and media end markets, has 16 manufacturing locations in the US and Europe.
