Stora Enso has renewed its business areas in a shake-up which will include the renaming of its wood products division as “Building and Living”. The Building and Living division, created yesterday, is headed by executive vice-president Hannu Kasurinen. “We are organising our businesses based on the different markets and customers they serve, ” said Stora Enso CEO Jouko Karvinen. “The aim is to increase our organisation’s competitiveness, flexibility, speed and accountability, and to minimise interdependences between the businesses to ensure that we have the ability and agility to seize opportunities arising from the changes in the global economy. ” Source:ttjonline.com
