Hoare Lea has developed a lighting app to promote the possibilities of light to the architectural and design communities.
The app, which is free to download for anyone with an iPad, allows the user to take a photo of a building, sculpture or person and play with the lighting impression.
The app went live earlier today and can be downloaded via the Apple Store or via Hoare Lea’s dedicated microsite.
Hoare Lea partner Dominic Meyrick said: “The app was designed to inspire creative people into thinking about the artificial lighting of a 3D form. It is a playful light sketcher that allows people to create simplistic lighting impressions - inspired by the chosen object.
"We want to reinforce that, although this looks impressive, the final images are not accurate lighting and are just a bit of fun.”
