Toy Fair 2017 has sold out.
The British Toy and Hobby Association has revealed that the annual UK industry showcase has sold out its entire exhibitor space at London’s Olympia in January.
The success of the sales has been fuelled, according to the BTHA, by the show’s return to its Tuesday to Thursday format, helping it sell out a full four months ahead of the show next year.
“I’d like to thank the industry for the support they have shown Toy Fair on returning to the Tuesday to Thursday format,” said Majen Immink, head of Toy Fair operations and sales.
“With Toy Fair sold out this early, I am looking forward to seeing the exciting and innovative products set to be launched in January.”
The BTHA has also renewed its partnership with the charity KidsOut for a second year.
The partnership will see KidsOut provide volunteers to take part in the annual Trolley Dash, taking place on the final afternoon of Toy Fair.
“KidsOut were amazed by the success of last year’s Toy Fair and especially the generosity of exhibitors participating in the Trolley Dash,” added Julian Margolin, KidsOut chief ambassador.
“We are delighted to be invited to be the official charity of the Toy Far again in 2017. This partnership means we can continue to expand our Toy Box service for children affected by domestic abuse, providing comfort and stability when they need it.”
Toy Fair 2017 will run from Tuesday, January 24th to Thursday 26th, at London’s Olympia. To register for a free pass to Toy Fair visit www.toyfair.co.uk
