MOC Says That The Average Steel Prices Rose by 0.4% Week on Week

China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said that the average steel prices rose by 0.4% week on week during last week ended on July 7th.

Among them, the prices for hot rolled strips with sizes of 145mm x 2.5mm rose by 0.7%; those for rebar with diameters of 12mm increased by 0.6% and those for high-speed wire rods with diameters of 6.5mm were up by 0.5%, all compared to the prices in a week ago.

In the given period of time, the average prices for minerals in China rose by 1.8%; those for energy decreased by 0.6%; those for non-ferrous metals were up by 1.1% , all compared to the average prices in the previous week.
