Taiwan-based solar cell maker Solartech has dismissed rumors about acquiring Top Green Energy. According to Solartech, market conditions have been fluctuating and therefore there are no plans to acquire Top Green Energy. Currently Solartech holds a 5% stake in Top Green Energy. Solartech pointed out that as a member of the board of Top Green Energy, the firm might send personnel to Top Green Energy for operation suggestions in the future, but the board will be the one to make decisions. Solartech reported flat revenues for October. Compared with other solar peers, Solartech has been performing quite well. The firm currently has nine 60MW production lines and an annual capacity of 540MW. The current capacity utilization is around 50%, with approximately six production lines operating.
