Korean Major Pipe Maker Seah Steel Announced to Start Its New JCOE Carbon Steel Pipe

Reportedly, Korean major pipe maker SeAH Steel announced to start its new JCOE carbon steel pipe at its Pohang works, north of Busan for early June.

The new plant has designed an annual steel pipe production capacity of 120,000 tons and expected to produce API grade line pipe with an outer diameter of up to 60 inches, a wall thickness to 50mm in lengths of up to 18 meters.

Meanwhile, the company has already invested approximately of US$77million in July 2011.

SeAH expects to extend its current business in order to meet growing demand from offshore projects and other similar construction sectors overseas, according to source said.
