Spin Master has teamed up with motorcycle brand Ducati to launch new Meccano building sets.
Spin Master is teaming up with Italian motorcycle giant Ducati, to bring fans a line of new Meccano building sets based on the famous bikes.
The first set from the partnership is the Ducati Monster 1200 S Build and Play, which features a coiled-spring suspension, multi-piece wheel, real steering and a functioning kickstand.
Ben Gadbois, global president and COO at Spin Master, said: “Meccano and Ducati are both legendary brands with legions of fans around the world, and we're excited to bring these two icons together for the first time.
"The Meccano Monster 1200 S model has the unmistakable design and distinguishing features that visibly communicate the sophistication, timeless quality and uniqueness of a Ducati."
Spin Master's new Meccano Ducati Monster 1200 S model is made up of more than 290 parts, and is available now at major retailers.
Alessandro Cicognani, licensing director at Ducati, added: “We are delighted to announce this new licensing agreement, which will allow us to develop Ducati motorcycles in the distinctive Meccano style.
"I'm sure that Ducati fans of any age will have a lot of fun playing with the Meccano Build and Play series.”
