STONES opened its first shop-in-shops at Kaufhof stores in September 2012, in cities throughout Germany such as Düsseldorf, Essen, Freiburg, Hamburg, Heilbronn and Mannheim.
The size of the shop-in-shop areas varies from 30m² in Freiburg up to 60m² in Heilbronn. The furniture corresponds to the typical STONES shop concept. The design is characterized by a mix of natural and high-tech materials: a special kind of metal, aleppo pine and black metal tubes. The use of clothes racks guarantee a high degree of flexibility within the shops. Holger Schmies, STONES Sales Director comments: 'We will continue our expansion strategy consistently in order to positioning ourselves even stronger in retail. Kaufhof shop-in-shops are the first step to continuously establish our brand STONES in the market. In this context, we still see significant potential.' The brand STONES stands for likeable men's fashion with a feel-good character.
