Nick Cave has teamed with the pop culture artist known only as Plasticgod to release a range of toys inspired by the musician’s song titles.
The collection features Nick Cave action figures dressed in various outfits inspired by the post-punk icon’s hit songs including Into My Arms, Ship Song and Red Right Hand.
The range has been developed by the Los Angeles-based artist in collaboration with the Aussie musician as part of an exclusive Comic Con 2015 release.
Plasticgod will be exhibiting the range – alongside further collections of pop-culture inspired artwork – at the San Diego Comic Con on July 9th.
The artist will be hoping to drum up the crowds with a Nick Cave themed selfie station, celebrating the collection of toys.
“The reaction to the toys so far has been great,” Plasticgod told ToyNews.
“We have had lots of people wanting the Red Right Hand design in particular.
“On top of that, I have received an email from Nick today saying that he loves the toys and would like to do more. It’s a great feeling when somebody you admire, admires your work back.”
