Finland-based Huhtamaki has designed new plastic tumblers which can be used to serve beverages for the fans in the upcoming football world cup.
The CE marked plastic tumblers are said serve as a shatterproof alternative to glassware.
The tumblers have been manufactured by using recycled RPET, a material derived from post-consumer recycled material such as carbonated and water PET bottles.
In addition, the company is offering paper cold cups range, which is available in 9oz 12oz, 16oz and 22oz sizes.
The paper cold cups are claimed to be made from Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certified paper.
Huhtamaki said that all the disposable products are environmentally friendly and fully recyclable.
