Moneta Packaging has acquired UK-based confectionery packaging firm Discovery Foils out of administration.
Moneta Packaging chief financial officer Alena Spinerova said the acquisition is set to expand the company's reach into new market applications for the pharmaceutical as well as dairy sectors.
"A new subsidiary in the UK market will allow us to bring our packaging solutions to more customers, improving their packaging quality and cost efficiency," Spinerova added.
The deal is said to have saved 14 jobs.
Discovery Foils produces aluminum foil based packaging for the food and confectionery sectors.
