Information Technology Start-ups Take Lion's Share of Government's Innovation Fund

INFORMATION technology start-ups have taken the lion's share of the government's innovation funding pool over the last three years.

IT companies, mostly in start-up phase stage or in another early stage of operation, accounted for $77 million of the $157.4 million that Commercialisation Australia has distributed in grants to develop local intellectual property.
