Over 900 retailers from nearly 50 countries have assembled in the most dynamic and important capital city of Europe to debate and discuss issues related to their industry.

The three-day-long event, running successfully for the past six years, will see discussions on various themes, such as the effect of global meltdown on the industry, omni-channel retailing, future of retail outlets, brands and marketing, and sustainability and international expansion.

The Congress will be addressed by more than 100 speakers from over forty business streams, including Philip Clarke, CEO of Tesco, Sir Philip Green, owner of Top Shop and Arcadia, Ian McLeod, CEO of Coles, Maurizio Barlotti, chairman of Printemps, Jonathan Ramsden, CFO of Abercrombie & Fitch, Mickey Drexler, president and CEO of J Crew, Rajan Mittal, vice chairman and MD of Bharti Enterprises, Muwaffaq Jamal, CEO of Panda and Steve Sadove, chairman and CEO of Saks Inc.

Apart from the discussion and debates between leading retailers and visionaries around the world, the programme will also give away the coveted World Retail Awards and organize Retail Futures Challenge student competition.

The agenda additionally includes retail study tours as well as receptions and key networking events in the heart of London.

The World Retail Hall of Fame will honour English fashion designer Sir Paul Smith and former Marks & Spencer chairman Sir Stuart Rose for their outstanding contribution to the wider industry.
