Textiles from Belarus are on display at the 10th International Exhibition of Home Textiles, currently going on in Almaty, the former capital and largest city of Kazakhstan.
The expo is being held along with the 12th International Houseware and Home Technology Exhibition. About 200 companies from 20 countries are participating in these expos.
Besides Belarus and Kazakhstan, companies from Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran, Turkey, India, Uzbekistan, Japan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine are also showing the samples of their products at the exhibitions.
Jacquard and woven fabrics for curtains, tulle and cotton curtain fabrics, curtains made of organza and taffeta, decorative and upholstery fabrics, cushions, decorative trim and embroidery, textile articles for bedrooms and bathrooms are among the products being displayed at the home textiles expo.
Also on display at the expo are bedspreads, bedding, tablecloths, towels and bathrobes, rugs, mats, plaid, kitchen textiles, children’s and teenager’s textile products, and personal care products like napkins and handkerchiefs.
Milavitsa, Baranonovichi, and Orsha Linen Mill are some of the Belarusian textile mills participating in the expo that concludes on March 4, 2013.
