SMA Partners with NP Improved The Quality of Life in Homebound Patients

US-based Schuylkill Medical Associates (SMA) has entered into an agreement with NP Advanced Wound Care, a mobile wound care company, as part of its strategy to improve the quality of life in homebound patients.

NP Advanced Wound Care is a mobile wound care company that offers nurse practitioner guided wound, ostomy, incontinence and medical services to homebound geriatric patients in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

NP Advanced Wound Care owner Luca Cella said, "Together with SMA, the geriatric homebound patient population is provided with comprehensive care that improves the quality of life through wound healing and lessens the burden to the caregivers who are responsible for our patients."

SMA director Christine Pluta said, "They have healed some of the most challenging wounds and are passionate about what they do."

SMA physicians provides homebound patients with chronic disease management, pain management, preventative care, and end of life care.
