Mattel has promoted Michael Hick to Sales Director for the UK and Ireland.
He joined the company in 2008 as Senior National Account Manager on the Argos and Tesco business, having previously worked at Mega Brands UK and LEGO UK.
Hick was previously promoted to the position of General Sales Manager Grocery. Under his leadership, the business has doubled in the last three years.
Mattel UK's General Manager Dominic Geddes said: “I am delighted to announce the promotion of Michael as Sales Director for the UK and Ireland.
"Michael has demonstrated intuitive people management skills and with a strategic vision he has clearly demonstrated his capability for this senior sales leadership position."
Geddes became Mattel UK country manager late last year.
