In the January-October period of this year, Ukraine's iron ore exports rose by nine percent year on year to 32.1 million metric tons, according to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom. Exports of iron ore from Ukraine increased by 17.2 percent in October compared to September, rising to 3.4 million mt.
In the January-October period, Ukrainian imports of iron ore increased by eight percent year on year to 2.310 million mt. In October alone, Ukraine's imports of iron ore increased by 35.3 percent compared to September, rising to 230,000 mt.
