It’s reported that Chinese Zhejiang-based stainless steel pipe maker Jiuli Hi-tech Metals planned to initiate hot trails of large-diameter welded pipe mill with annual capacity of 20,000 tons in late September.
It’s expected that the new mill will boosted Jiuli’s capacity by 28% to 92,500 tons per year.
Also, the company will be able to produce welded pipe with diameters of 325mm~1,620mm, mainly for transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG).
