Ecolab and China's State Food and Drug Administration Institute for Executive Development(SFDAIED)have entered into a partnership to conduct food safety training,in line with the recent introduction of China's five-year food safety plan.
As a part of this initiative,safety experts from Ecolab and SFDAIED are together conducting food safety training for large,state-owned restaurants and food service providers throughout the cities of Beijing,Wuhan and Baise.
The food service industry training program focuses on several key areas of food safety,including personal hygiene,proper equipment and facility operation,cleaning and disinfecting processes and pest control techniques.
Through the program,China seeks to strengthen operational standards,promote proper food safety practices and increase public awareness of the importance of food safety.
Ecolab Greater China senior vice president and general manager Tim Wang said that Ecolab is committed to sharing its knowledge and solutions to advance China's food service industry.
"This food safety training program reflects our commitment to helping improve food safety practices within the industry and bolster consumer confidence within China,"Wang added.
Ecolab,based in Minnesota,US,offers water,hygiene and energy technologies and services that provide and protect clean water,safe food,abundant energy and healthy environments.The company entered the Chinese market in 1987.
