Korea's Union Steel Announced to Initial Trial Run at Its New Color-Coating Line in Busan

Reportedly, Korea’s Union Steel, a leading producer of color-coated sheet, announced to initial trial run at its new color-coating line in Busan this Monday.

During the testing run, the company is focused on whole operation capability includes reliability and consistency in order to achieve the high standard requirement during this run.

Meanwhile, the new color-coating line has designed the annual production capacity to 35,000 tons and it is expected to officially begin commercial production from mid-February this year.

Besides, the company is also considered to add another new CCL line, No.9, during the second half this year and it will depend on the global economic condition to be improved.

However, the company will also plan to raise its No.8 CCL annual production capacity from 35,000 tons to 655,000 tons. Therefore, the company’s mission is achieved annual capacity for color sheet to 1million by 2015.
