ICFI Has Secured a New Contract From The Us Department of Health and Human Services

ICF International (ICFI) has secured a new contract from the US Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to offer support to the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).

Under the $8.2m contract, which has term of one base year and four option years, ICF will be responsible for supporting the CDC, and the NCEH/ATSDR's Information Services Team (IST) with a broad range of activities to make sure that major information technology (IT) platforms are available to support the CDC's mission.

In addition, ICF will handle vital health data for NCEH/ATSDR scientists so that they can better understand the causes of diseases, promote healthy behaviors, find out the threats of toxic substances, and monitor the health of the nation.

Particularly, the services include asset operations and maintenance support as well as custom development, modernization, improvement, consolidation, replacement and IT data management services.

ICF International vice president Terence McKittrick said, "We look forward to the opportunity to help NCEH/ATSDR improve business processes, create efficiencies, support scientific systems, and provide increased value through this important program."
