Poland-based ColorPressArt has installed Rapida 75 PRO press with LED-UV drying, in a bid to enhance its operations to meet the demand from the customers.
ColorPressArt said Rapida 75 PRO is the first half-format press incorporating advanced drying technology in the country.
Developed for half-format sheetfed offset, the Rapida 75 PRO will support the production with a variety of non-absorbent substrates.
The system has been configured with five printing units, coater and triple-length extended delivery. It will also hold capacity to print and coat in a conventional process at speeds up to 16,000 sheets per hour.
Rapida 75 PRO press includes various features, including FAPC fully automatic plate changers, plate ident, Cleantronic synchro speed and disengaging of unused inking units.
Other features of the system include console with wallscreen, Ergotronic colordrive, ErgoTronic Lab, Qualitronic colorcontrol with liveyiew, dotview and qualitypass, ACR and accessories for printing on plastics and varidryblue dryers.
The pres, which has 225mm foundations and CX board-handing accessories, can print on substrates up to a thickness of 0.8mm.
