AJG Has Acquired Broker Benefit Services, in Chesterfield

US-based insurance brokerage Arthur J Gallagher & Co. (AJG) has acquired Broker Benefit Services, in Chesterfield, for an undisclosed amount.

AJG said that the recent acquisition of BBS will enable it to utilize their health and welfare, executive benefits and wellness plans as well as expertise of planning, design, implementation and cost containment for group businesses.

After the completion of the merger, Corey Durbin, John Byrne and their associates will remain operating from current location under the direction of William Ziebell, North Central regional executive vice president of Gallagher's employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations, said the acquirer.

Commenting on the business expansion, Arthur J Gallagher & Co chairman, president and CEO Patrick Gallagher said that over the last 11 years, Broker Benefit Services has developed a strong team with the experience and expertise in providing the latest solutions for their clients' employee benefit needs.
