UK-based retail bakery chain Greggs has installed new carton kit from T Freemantle to assist in packing frozen items for national supermarkets.
The company has ordered three semi-automatic End-Load Cartoners, which can operate at 80 cartons per minute and offer a wide range of carton sizes, to meet the increased demand, packagingnews.co.uk reported.
Besides, the carton made from stainless steel allows for increased versatility by incorporating a quick and easy size change method.
Greggs serves freshly baked, quality food to customers in over 1,500 shops around the UK.
