EU's Steel Pipe Output Decreased by 6% Year on Year

According to statistics, the EU’s steel pipe output decreased by 6% year on year in the first quarter of this year, caused by soft demand from downstream buyers and sluggish steel pipe market.

It’s learned that the market demand for large-diameter steel pipes has remained weak recently.

Meanwhile, it’s predicted that the EU’s steel pipe output would drop by 5% in 2013 but it may rise by 2.5% in 2014 due to higher demand.
