CyberCare Health Network, a subsidiary of EncounterCare Solutions, has entered into a three year agreement with Primary Wound Care Specialists to provide an integrated clinical solution for wound management.
The solution, which integrates CyberCare's Electronic House Call Technology and Aranz Medical's Silhouette Wound Assessment and Information System, offers complete assessment, treatment planning and compliance monitoring for patients enrolled in Primary Wound Care's contracted Health Plans.
CyberCare executive vice president Chris Doherty said the introduction of the new wound management program is a significant milestone for CyberCare.
"Wound care is a large cost factor in health care today and this novel wound care treatment system will decrease costs while enhancing wound management and patient care," Doherty added.
The Electronic House Call helps both the clinician and the patient to review both objective and subjective data while Silhouette Wound Assessment and Information System offers decision support capabilities for wound care professionals.
