Fujifilm is all set to unveil Inca SpyderX, a UV wide format press, and other advanced inkjet innovations at the upcoming SGIA Expo 2017 to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division will presenting its Inca SpyderX, OnsetM, Acuity LED 3200R, Inca Onset X3, Fujifilm Dimatix Samba printheads, Acuity LED 1600 II and Acuity Select 20 Series.
Inca SpyderX is a UV wide format press designed and manufactured by Inca Digital. The press is claimed to be a 3.2m wide, six colour + white SpyderX. It will be available either as flatbed or a combination of flatbed/ roll-to-roll system model for handling rigid and flexible substrates.
The printer can produce a wide range of output at high speeds of up to 2,476 ft2/hr (230 m²/hr).
The company will also be showcasing the new OnsetM, a B1 (27.8” x 39.4”) format inkjet printer, which is claimed to have specifically developed for high quality, short run solution for sign and display, commercial and industrial print applications.
The printer is claimed to work at speeds of 200 boards per hour, with a 7pL drop. It is ideal for delivering short run jobs, cost effectively.
Fujifilm will also showcase its Acuity LED 3200R, a superwide 126” (3.2m) roll printer which produces high quality displays with LED UV curing technology. The printer has a built-in LED panel that lets backlit prints to be checked on the fly. This leads to quickly spot errors and take corrective steps, saving time and ink and media waste.
It claims to be offering maximum productivity in its CMYK configuration at 1,184 ft2/hr of speed. Print service providers (PSPs) can achieve maximum production efficiency by using simultaneous dual roll printing with two 60” (1.52 m) media rolls.
At its booth, Fujifilm will unveil the Inca Onset X3, a high productivity UV flatbed printing technology. The printer has a maximum throughput of about 10,000 ft²/hr or equal to 180 beds per hour (126.8” x 63”). The printer is claimed to be ideal for PSPs for producing fast-turnaround retail graphics.
The printer will be available by paired with robotic off load handling system and it will make its global debut at the expo.
